Find out where the Irish came from and how they survived on this wild landscape for 12000 years

The Dingle Peninsula has one of the greatest concertation’s of archaeological sites in Western Europe, stretching back over the past 7000 years. It is estimated that there are almost 2500 archaeological sites on this narrow rugged finger of land jutting into the Atlantic Ocean.

One of the most interesting parts of archaeology is the detective element. Archaeology is like a jigsaw puzzle, except that you can't cheat and look at the box, and not all the pieces are there.
